  1. This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of GNU Make.  GNU
  2. Make was written by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath.

  4. This package was put together by Ian Murdock <imurdock@debian.org>,
  5. from sources obtained from: ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/make/

  7. Changes:
  8.  * added Debian GNU/Linux package maintenance system files
  9.  * removed documentation that fails to meet the Debian free software
  10.    guidelines.

  12. The package has since changed maintainers, the current maintainer being
